Yes--we were both blond, if you can believe it. The only bad thing about living near the beach is the amount of sunscreen we have to slather on our whiter-than-white children.
Thank your lucky stars you don't have Zach, our redhead, HUMAN BACON... poor kid. Missed a spot the size of a quarter once when he was 3 and realized it an hour later. From just an hour that spot turned PURPLE from the sunburn and became an honest to god scar for over a year. The kid is toast....literally.
